Homepage

Once a user logs on to Strata they are presented with the Homepage, which, is the main landing page for Strata. The Homepage view is tailored depending on a users permission group. There are two main views; administrator and general user.

Administrator View

The administrator view gives access to the whole system, including; site settings, manage users, importing and exporting and action centre.

General User View

The general user view has simplified functionality pertinent to everyday use.

Main Header Menu

The header has several features:

  • Specifying an organisational merger
  • Search facility
  • Notification bell
  • Settings cog (admin only)
  • User Profile

Specifying Organisation

This feature allows the system to switch between providers. This is particularly key for those providers who have merged and wish to analyse an individual provider rather than the full merged view. To specify the provider click the two arrows to enable the dropdown list.

Left Hand Panel

If a user logs on with administrator permissions they will have access to all of the menu options below. Please see the Menu article for more information on each of the options.

Quick Actions

These tiles provide quick access to some of the key areas of Strata.

  • Dashboard - a Performance and Monitoring Dashboard to allow analysis by users at all levels within the organisation. The Dashboards provide an instant snapshot of performance - enabling users to focus on what really matters.
  • My Reports - administrators and report managers have access to a powerful report editor which allows users to create reports easily and rapidly, customise them and share them with colleagues. Reports can be based on a variety of data sources including learner, enrolment, destination, performance measures and monthly retention. All reports are drillable, down to either the aims which make up the programme or to the individual enrolments.
  • Spotlight - target a certain block of provision or area of your organisation and produce a full summary report. See everything that matters and have all the key information at hand for SAR and performance reviews. 
  • Compare - see how your provision compares against the national average data. Compare against different provision types i.e. GFEC &TC, Sixth Form, Other Public Funded or compare against an individual provider.
  • ILR Data - access to the raw ILR data. Ability to analyse by academic year and return.

Provide quick access to recently used reports. Click the Report Name to open the report data grid.
