Dashboard

Strata includes a Performance and Monitoring Dashboard to allow analysis by users at all levels within the organisation. The Dashboards provide an instant snapshot of performance - enabling you to focus on what really matters. 

There are three dashboard views:

• Enrolments - academic year analysis
• E&T Performance - education and training overall measures by hybrid end year
• App Performance - apprenticeship overall measures by hybrid end year

The dashboard view is controlled using the options below. You can easily switch between the performance measures, doing so controls the type of year selected i.e. academic year or hybrid end year depending on the analysis type. You can restrict the dashboard view to part of the college structure, using the 'All Structures' dropdown.

If a user is allocated to part of the structure, when logging in to Strata the dashboard will default to the specified structures. See the example below.

Each chart object can be toggled to expand to a full screen view by clicking the square icon. Clicking the three dots allows you to 'Print' and 'Export' the object or select 'Go to Report' to view the data grid.

Enrolments Dashboard - Counts by Academic Year

• Total Learners - distinct learner head count
• Total Enrolments - total enrolments split by completion status
• Total Enrolments By Age - total enrolments split by age (16-18 and 19+)
• Total Enrolments By Provision - total enrolments split by education and training, apprenticeships and traineeships
• In-Year Retention - in year retention comparing current return (R09), previous months return (R08), R14 from last academic year, current month in previous academic year (R09 previous year)
• Completion Status By Month - count of completion status as at month end
• Continuers By Month - Year Trend - number of continuers as at month end

Education and Training - Overall Measures by Hybrid End Year

• Total Leavers E&T - total leaver count
• Ach% - achievement rate (achievers out of leavers) against the national average (grey arrow)
• Pass% - pass rate (achievers out of completers) against the national average (grey arrow)
• Ret% - retention rate (completers out of leavers) against the national average (grey arrow)
• SSA1 Performance % - ach%, pass% and ret% by SSA1
• Qualification Type Performance % - ach%, pass% and ret% by Qualification Type
• Uplift Area Performance % - Uplift area (area of deprivation) ach % by percentage of total leavers 

Apprenticeships - Overall Measures by Hybrid End Year

• Total Leavers App - total leaver count
• Ach% - achievement rate (achievers out of leavers) against the national average (grey arrow)
• SSA1 Performance % - ach% by SSA1
• Programme Type Performance % - ach% by programme type
• Standards by Level Performance - ach% per standards level
• Age Band Performance - ach% per age group breakdown (16-18, 19-23, 24+)
• Uplift Area Performance % - Uplift area (area of deprivation) ach % by percentage of total leavers
